FAQs

1. What exactly does PS Digital Media Consulting do?

I help small businesses build and manage their online presence. That includes website design with WordPress and Elementor, social media setup, Canva and AI training, and practical digital strategy sessions.
Whether you want me to do it all for you or prefer to learn how to do it yourself, I’ll help you every step of the way.

I’ve been a freelance digital media content creator and web designer for over 10 years, working with a wide range of clients and industries.
Over the years I’ve learnt what customers truly want — some prefer that I handle everything from start to finish, while others want to save money and learn to do it themselves.
That’s why I offer both options: I can create and manage your digital presence, or train you and your team to confidently do it on your own.

No. While I’m based in Port Elizabeth, I work with clients all over the world. All my consultations and training sessions can be done online via Microsoft Teams, so distance is never a problem.

The Digital Direction Session is a 60-minute consultation that helps you figure out exactly what your business needs next.
I review your website, social media, and goals, then give you a simple digital roadmap with clear recommendations — whether you should have me set it up for you or learn how to do it yourself. I charge a small fee of R200 for a 60-minute consultation.

Yes, I do.
I provide reliable and affordable hosting for the websites I build. Hosting needs can vary depending on the size and type of your site, so let’s chat about what would suit your business best.
We’ll find the right hosting plan that balances performance, cost, and security.

All my services are once-off with set prices. There are no subscriptions or hidden fees.
If you ever need extra support later, you can simply book another training or consultation session as needed.

I build all websites using WordPress and Elementor Pro, giving you a flexible, professional site that’s easy to update on your own. I can also train you to manage it confidently after launch.

Absolutely. My Canva Training Sessions are designed for beginners through to advanced users. You’ll learn to create posts, manage brand kits, and even use Canva’s AI tools.
By the end, you’ll have practical templates and the confidence to design your own content.

You don’t need to be. My sessions are designed to make digital tools simple, not stressful.
I explain things in plain language and give you practical steps you can follow at your own pace.

Start with the Digital Direction Session. It’s the easiest way to find clarity.
After our session, I’ll give you two clear paths — one where I do the work for you, and one where I train you to do it yourself.

Yes. I provide photography for websites and social media, capturing professional images that align with your brand.
I also offer guidance on affordable gear and setup if you want to shoot your own photos or videos later.

Yes. Although my main focus is on small businesses, I also offer two dedicated church packages — one where I handle the setup, and another where I train your staff or volunteers to manage everything digitally. I was in Youth and Children’s Ministry for 20 years and understand what churches need.

A standard 3–5 page website usually takes about two weeks from start to finish once all content and photos are provided.
One-page websites can often be completed within three days.

I accept EFT (bank transfer) for all services. Payment terms depend on the project — usually a 50% deposit to start, with the balance due on completion. I also accept payments via Yoco.

Yes. You can book individual sessions or combine them into one of my Combination Packages — such as the Content Creator’s Toolkit or Digital Kickstart Package — which offer better value.
